EXHIBITION 2014 INTERNATIONAL CES

2013 has been a turbo-fast year for wearable technology and the revolution is set to sweep the technology, fashion and entertainment industries right into 2014.
On the ‘FashionWare’ catwalk fashion and technology collide creating a high-octane affair of techno-glam garments. Powered by tech partner Sensing Tex and facilitated by InnovationFab the latest showpieces of Rainbow Winters are nothing short of the ‘wow factor’.
The ‘Morphing Planet’ showpiece transforms in colour as the wearer dances. Inspired by the racing rollercoaster colours of the midnight sky the illuminated fibre-optic woven fabric ‘LuminousTex’ is uniquely integrated with sensors: ‘Pressure Sensor Tex’ and ‘accelerometers’ making the dress energetic, responsive and interactive.
The ‘Rainbow Riot’ showpiece is crafted from ‘LuminousTex’ and an embedded pressure sensor ‘Pressure Sensor Tex’, so the wearer has the power to change the colour of the dress depending on their mood or surrounding. In a riot of rainbows, sculptured geometric hexagons turn the wearer into a walking work of art.
The ‘Fashionware’ live runway show will take place on 9 January 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC). Innovations in Fashion Tech will be showcased daily for all CES attendees to experience in the FashionWare TechZone in The Venetian, Level 2, Venetian Ballroom 7-10 January.
